Greeley Tribune interview
Find the link to the May 5th article Christian Science figure to speak in Fort Collins by Terry Frei, which appeared in the Greeley Tribune in Greeley, Colorado. As you read it, please note that there are some factual errors, and I am not always quoted accurately. And an exceptional and unusual case of a child passing under Christian Science treatment was referenced in an inaccurate light. However, this was a healing interview for the reporter who had serious concerns about prayer and healing because of cases in his region of children lost under faith-healing practices unrelated to Christian Science.
In the print version, he made sure that the statement that we take responsibility for providing the necessary care to keep our children healthy and safe was in bold relief and stood out. While I might have preferred that he allow my explanations to go further in print, considering the depth of his concern, I am pleased that the article went as far as it did.
For a fuller explanation of Christian Science and care for children, see the article What is Christian Science Anyway? which appeared in the Martha's Vineyard times.
