Switching things up a bit!

Picture
When I received the angel message to start this blog, I had no idea that it would develop into a daily thing. I was tickled that 20 readers stop by regularly. Now as many as 1500 check in for insight into prayer on a given day.

As much focus and attention as it has demanded, I wouldn't have traded this writing run for anything. I have learned that inspiration is infinite when we look to the divine Source of all good to meet the human need.

Now, after six months and over 150 posts, I have the idea that it is time to change up the rhythm a bit to allow each post to have a little more airtime and to allow more conversation to develop in the comments section after each post.

Picture
Starting next week, I will begin posting between 3 and 4 times a week - more or less.

This will allow me to devote more attention to the French version of this blog, which posts translations, and to reading and supporting the writing of other bloggers.

I have a strong conviction that we all have something significant to share with others of our journey to know God through the practice of prayer. To this end, I will be continuing the regular Thursday posts on Finding your Prayer MOJO, and of course, I will welcome and post the contributions of my guest bloggers as often as they would like to write. As for the other posts, we will see what Mind unfolds. Readers ideas are always welcome and considered, so please let me know if you have an idea or question.

For those who have faithfully returned to the blog and read posts on a regular basis, I would like to thank you for your tremendous support. I have appreciated your comments and emails of gratitude and encouragement almost daily since the blog began. It is because of you and your willingness to share that the blog is buzzing with new readers daily.

For those who have joined the conversation more recently, I hope that the slightly slower pace of new posts will give you the opportunity to look into some of the earlier writings, and conversations that developed in the comments. I hope you will find the gems to be mined and begin to feel comfortable speaking up and sharing also.

Here's a short music video to welcome the spring and cheer your Saturday!

Love the blog? (I do!) Then please spread the good news!

Thank you Michelle for all your wonderful blogs over the past months. I am not new to CS - far from it but you have opened up some windows for me that seem to have got stuck over the years! And I am very grateful. And I just love the video. Am about to spend the day in my garden on this glorious spring day with those words ringing in my ears..

With much love and gratitude.

Although I think it will be good to leave a little digestion space between some posts, I have to admit that slowing down the pace involves me stepping up to the challenge. I love where blogging takes me in my prayers. The posts will still be quite regular.

I am really grateful to hear how windows have been opening for you, too. It's so much more fun to have companions of the spiritual journey!

Love back to you!

Michelle--I've been a CSer all my life, but connected with your blog a few months ago after my sister enjoyed working with you on a healing she had. In the middle of the night last night, I was thinking about your blog and what I'd learned from it and...I swear this is true...I thought, Gosh I wish these postings were a bit slower. I no sooner get one idea "down," than there's more wonderful stuff to think about. Couldn't believe it when you posted the new more gradual approach to blogging this morning. Lots of love

Ah! Look's like that angel message was making the rounds last night. As a friend pointed out, for me, writing is like breathing. I have to do it. Had an angel not given me the "kind and gentle pace" message, I wouldn't be proposing it! Love to you.

Hi Michelle,
I love your blogs and those of your guests as well. They always meet me with fresh ideas that supports me that very day- amazing how that works! There is plenty to ponder in each pne and I often go back to an earlier post to rethink an idea shared. They are treasures with wonderful nuggets of practical relevance to put into practice. Thank you so much for all the love and dedication you put into these. They may not come as often but the blessings only increase! Especially with all the wonderful links which each blog comes with... Now I will really spend more time reading each linked article- I find reading all the linked articles really expands the ideas you have shared even more- a lot of thought goes into garnering all these - they fit so perfectly into the context of ideas shared....thank you thank you!

Warms my heart to read how the blog is such an all around help! Thank you!

Hi Michelle! I think the idea of fewer blogs and more thought in between is a good one. You have been such an important resource for me, as you know, and I look forward to what comes next! Thank you so much for continuing this effort!

Michelle Nanouche
3/24/2012 07:58:27 am

And thank you, Kim, for always being so ready to share what inspires you and what you are learning. That conversation helps so many!

More thanks to you, Michelle, than a heart can hold! Thank you for demonstrating the infinite capacity to write about spirituality and the divine with such truth, inspiration, and frequency. Thanks for shepherding the blogging newbies with love and patience.

Yours is one of the blogs I expect to be seeing more and more from! Many thanks to my number one pom pom cheerleader!

3/24/2012 06:33:57 am

Love your posts, I just do not have time to read and digest all of them. I think many FB users are like that. So if you put more space between posts I'll also take more time for each one. I do like bible references because those resonate with non Christian scientists. Thank you!

Michelle Nanouche
3/24/2012 08:58:51 am

Exactly, Marylyn. And as the online conversation about prayer grows, it is so important to have the space to mive with certain truths and not simply take them in! That said, there still will be a considerable amount of content to come. Think of it like a smorgasbord where you can chose what you prefer!

Kathleen
3/24/2012 06:58:40 am

Michelle, I support you in this decision. As much as I gain from your posts, I have not had the time to keep up with each one and read every linked article. In fact, I am still going back to catch up with ones I missed in the past. I also go back to favorite ones to re-read and re-ponder. Your new pace will be perfect for me. Thank you so much for all the time and love you give us with these prayerful writings.

Michelle Nanouche

Good for you! I do the same! Thanks for all the helpful comments you leave on the posts.

Thank you for being so kind and loving with your readers! You already know the great importance that your blogs have for me ... Good to know that they also mean a lot for many, many other readers!
It will be nice to have more time to reflect, study and discuss about the profound ideas that you share in such a special way.

Michelle Nanouche

How fun to see how many of us are on the same page! Thanks, Tamara!

Dear Michelle, This is such a good idea! I have read all your posts since I have discovered your blog, and I love them every one! But, it's not always easy to keep up with all the links, especially on days I work full time. And then, I am still thinking about and praying with all the wonderful ideas you have shared in the series about food...
Like other readers, I am not new to Christian Science, but I feel you have given us a wealth of new ideas to think about! Thank you so very very much for all your work!
I am looking forward to continuing to read your posts, and to having a bit more time to 'digest' them! :-)
Much love to you!

Michelle Nanouche

Hello Béatrice, so many good ideas! Something for those who need to read all and something for the occasional visitor. It is all good. Will listen for the rhythm of Soul.

You have a real talent for this , Michelle- God bless you for sharing your gifts.

Michelle Nanouche, Christian Science teacher, spirituality, healing, prayer

I have practiced Christian Science professionally in
    some form since 1979.
    But my journey with
    Christian Science started
    in a Sunday school
    where as a young child
I was taught the Scriptures and some simple basics
    of Jesus' method of
    scientific Christian healing.
    A significant experience
    at the age of twelve
    opened my eyes to
    the great potential
    of this practice.
    After impaling my foot
    on a nail,
I prayed the way I had learned
    in Sunday school.
    Within moments
    the pain stopped
    and healing began.
By the next morning the wound had disappeared completely.
    Having experienced
    the great potential
    of Christian Science,
    there would be no
    turning back.
