Who am I? Here are the no-frills facts:

But there is more to me than that. Here's what you should know...
"I love to tell the story..." starts an old evangelical hymn. "Telling the story" is a large part of what I do as a healer, teacher, writer and lecturer. Everything in my story leads back to the great "story" of the origin and practice of Christian Science.
I have practiced Christian Science professionally, helping people find solutions to business, relational, physical, financial, mental, emotional, family problems, and more, in my practice for over 35 years.
What lit the fire in me. My journey with Christian Science started in a Sunday school where as a young child I was taught the Scriptures and some simple basics of Jesus' method of Christian healing. At the age of twelve I experienced the great potential of this Science. After impaling my foot on a rusty nail while mowing the lawn I prayed the way I had learned in Sunday school. Within moments the pain stopped and healing began. By the next morning the wound had disappeared without a trace - no problems with tetanus, infection or any scarring. There would be no turning back. I felt called to find out more so that I could help others find healing like me.
Early professional experience. Nine years as a Christian Science nurse gave me up-close and firsthand observation of healing through prayer-based spiritual means. During this time I was mentored by a Christian Science teacher who gave me important definition and direction in how to heal. These opportunities to observe and learn from other experienced Scientists set me squarely on the path to the work I do today.

My first office as a Christian Science practitioner opened in 1989. Initially appointed to the international Christian Science Board of Lectureship in 1995, I have served the community in many other capacities since, - most notably as the point person for Christian Science to public authorities, the legislature and the media in New Jersey, USA, and as a writer and teacher of Christian Science. I launched this web site in both English and French in 2012.

What I am up to now. An American native, I am married, with one daughter, son-in-law and a darling grandson, and live full-time in France. Much of the year you will find me in my office in central Paris praying for others, preparing lectures for the public, writing articles for magazines and newspapers, and teaching.
Late fall and throughout the spring, I am frequently either on the road answering the public's questions about Christian Science as a lecturer, or preparing a new generation of Christian Science healers by mentoring other practitioners through an annual class taught every October, and by conducting annual refresher meetings with my pupils every Spring.
Underlying each current role is my great love for "the old, old story of Jesus and his love" that is alive and well today in the practice of Christian Science healing.
